Rudolph Lee Helfenstine, 71, of Feesburg, Ohio passed away Monday, July 19, 2010, at the Meadow Wood Care Center, Georgetown, Ohio.
He was born in Covington, Kentucky, December 12, 1938, the son of the late Paul and Cordie (McQuirey) Helfenstine.
He served his country in the United States Army and retired from the News Democrat as a Dark Room Technician.
Rudolph is survived by his loving wife of 38 years Linda Lou (Pitzer) Helfenstine of Feesburg, Ohio; Mother-in-law, Frances Pitzer of Hamersville, Ohio;
2 Brothers, Jerry Helfenstine and Melvin Helfenstine both of Georgetown, Ohio; 2 Sisters, Joyce Scolletta, of Omaha, Nebraska; and Alma Jeanne Rack of Georgetown, Ohio; Sister-in-law, Deborah Stratton of Hamersville, Ohio; and Several Nieces & Nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, July 22, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Meeker Funeral Home, Russellville. Pastor Jaime Wirth will be officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral. Burial will follow at the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio.
