Nelson Brooks Allen, 85, of Mowrystown, died Saturday, July 24, 2010 at the Ohio Veterans Home, in Georgetown.
He was a World War II United State Army veteran and member of Sardinia Church of the Nazarene.
Mr. Allen is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Pamela Allen, Bruce and Linda Allen, Jim and Becky Allen and Mike and Marla Allen; three daughters and sons-in-law, Donita and Daniel Kimberly, Faye and Edward Laub, and Brenda and Rodney Gray; 21 grandchildren; 48 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and one sister, Geneva Henderson.
Visitation was held Tuesday, July 27 at the Sardinia Church of the Nazarene. Funeral services were held Wednesday at the church. Burial was in the Sardinia Cemetery. The Beam-Fender Funeral Home, in Sardinia, serving the family.
