Sister Joan Leonard, formerly Sister Mary Robert, 80, of St. Martin, died Saturday, July 24, 2010 in Cincinnati.
She was a member of the Ursulines of Brown County and an educator.
Sr. Joan Leonard was born April 18, 1930 in Cincinnati, the daughter of the late Robert and Mary Harrington Leonard. She was also preceded in death by four sisters, Marita Rack, Barbara Leonard, Joy O'Connor and Judy Leonard.
She is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Nancy Leonard of Chester, Md.
A memorial service will be held 4 p.m. Thursday, July 29 at Sacred Heart Chapel, in St. Martin. There will be no visitation. The Egbert Funeral Home, in Mt. Orab, serving the family.
If desired, memorials may be made to the Ursulines of Brown County.
