Doug Cooper, 59

Doug Cooper, 59, of Higginsport, died Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012.

Mr. Cooper was the son of the late Clyde Cooper and Oneida Brewer Dumford. He was also preceded in death by his stepfather, Bob Dumford.

He is survived by his wife, Jenny L. Chapman Cooper; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Brian D. and Wendy Cooper, Mark A. and Sherry Cooper and Mark Doug Cooper, all of Bethel; two sisters, Wanda Anderson of Bethel and Pam Meyer of Batavia; one brother, Dennis Cooper of Amelia; and seven grandchildren.

Visitation was held Friday, Oct. 26, at E.C. Nurre Funeral Home, in Bethel. Funeral services were held Saturday, Oct. 27, at the funeral home. Mr. Cooper was cremated.
