Phyllis Dowd, 78

Phyllis J. Dowd, 78, of Mt. Orab, died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013 in Seaman.

She attended Wesleyan Church in Mt. Orab.

Mrs. Dowd was the daughter of the late Ernest and Zalie Ethel Worrell.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Dowd of Mt. Orab; two sons and daughters-in-law, Rev. Darrell and Nancy Dowd of Greenfield and Kevin W. and Theresa Dowd of Mt. Orab; three daughters and sons-in-law, Connie and Mike Manning of Mt. Orab, Sandra and Jerry Sydnor of Ripley, and Cindy and Rodney Phillips of Fayetteville; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; two sisters, Joyce Lewis of Covington and Judy Shepperd of Dry Ridge, Ky.; one brother, Jerry Worrell of Cynthiana.

Visitation and funeral services were held Friday, Feb. 1, at Wesleyan Church. Interment was in Mt. Orab Cemetery. The Megie Funeral Home, in Mt. Orab, serving the family.

If desired, memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association or Hospice of Hope.
