Ada Simmons, 94, of Sardinia, died Friday, Feb. 8, 2013 at Highland House in Hillsboro.
She was a member of Russellville Easter Star, was a 1936 graduate of Sardinia High School, was a volunteer at SWRMC gift shop and Sardinia Life Squad Bingo, and was a member of the Happy Travelers.
Mrs. Simmons was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Leah Berry. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Austin Simmons; one sister, Mabel Arthur; and one brother, Ralph Berry.
She is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Ann and Perry Yochum of Sardinia, Jaunita and Tom Budd of Milford, and Janet Wilson of Loveland; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren,
Visitation and funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 12, at Beam-Fender Funeral Home, in Sardinia. Rev. Kevin Hamilton officiated. Burial was in Sardinia Cemetery.
