Muddy Harvest
There seemed to be more mud than vegetables and the squash hardly even looked yellow with a finger painted layer of mud covering them.

Jimson Weed
Course toothed three to five inch leaves on a red stem, trumpet shaped white or pale purple flowers, and a peculiar odor. We confirmed that our weed was Jimson.

Sixty Thousand Sisters
The first thing this morning, right after breakfast when the day was still cool, we headed out to the hives. We knew that our white cotton button down shirts, bee veils and elbow high leather gloves would be brutally hot if we waited until later in the day.
