The Aberdeen Concert in the Park will be held 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 21 at the old Gretna Green Pavilion, located on High Street, in Aberdeen Park. Seating is limited; bring a lawn chair.

This year’s concert is dedicated to the late Kay Walton Haag, founder and first president of the Aberdeen-Huntington Township Museum. Funding is needed in order to procure a new location for the museum. After 17 years in the Aberdeen Municipal Building, it is necessary to relocate.

Enjoy the Liberty Cornet Band and Alex Watt, bagpiper with the Cincinnati Caledonian Pipes and Drums. Following will be free homemade ice cream and cake, prizes and split-the-pot.

The annual concert is sponsored by the Aberdeen-Huntington Township Museum and the Brown County Historical Society. Museum president Jerry W. Lee and Society president Dr. Ned Lodwick invite everyone to come and enjoy this event.
